Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Hope you’re having a great July! I can’t believe we’re already halfway through summer. I recently had a blast spending the weekend in Philly with my youngest daughter during ALA. While there, I also dropped in on some fun events hosted by Growing Libraries and Margaret Sullivan Studio.
There’s nothing like seeing a wave of library professionals take over a city—the energy shifts, and so does the tote bag-to-human ratio (exponentially!). Despite the heat, people were out enjoying Philly’s amazing restaurants and cultural spots.
My daughter and I went on a haunted history tour, explored the Magic Gardens, and even caught up with an old college friend who happens to be a Philly-based graphic designer—shout out to Mike at Spot Creations!
