It’s almost National Library Week!
National Library Week, April 23-29, is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. Unfortunately, it comes at a time when libraries are being challenged across the country, and in some cases, having funding taken away.
If you’re a library lover like me, you can advocate for libraries during National Library Week by sharing your favorite library story on social media. Help spread the word on social media using the #MyLibraryStory hashtag. You can even download graphics to use here.
