About the Blount County Public Library
The Blount County Public Library empowers and connects its community so that every story can be shared. Located in Maryville, TN, the library serves as a workshop where residents of all ages take authorship of their own lives — whether that means a child discovering their first hero, a student studying at the Bookmark Cafe, or a resident researching their genealogy. Under the direction of Library Director Dustin Goforth, BCPL offers programs that inspire imagination and build connection, from summer events with real dinosaur fossils and Touch a Truck to the new HistoryFest celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary. The library’s vision is simple: building community by sharing stories, creating connections, and inspiring imagination.
