Cordelia Anderson Consulting (CAC) is pleased to announce that we have been selected to lead a comprehensive rebranding process for Yakima Valley Libraries (YVL), a public library system serving communities across Yakima County in Washington State.
The project team includes NC-based Creative Director Ken Magas, a long-time collaborator who has partnered with CAC on multiple library branding initiatives, including projects for Hawaiʻi State Public Library System, Clearview Library District, Hillside Public Library, and more. Additional project partners will support areas such as translation and cultural competency to ensure the brand reflects and resonates with YVL’s diverse communities.
Yakima Valley Libraries conducted a competitive selection process to identify a consultant to guide the development of a refreshed brand identity, including visual design, messaging, and implementation tools. The goal of the project is to create a cohesive, accessible, and community-centered brand system that supports staff across multiple locations while strengthening YVL’s connection with the people it serves.
The project will take place from April through August 2026, with additional implementation support extending into September.
