About the Brazoria County Library System
The Brazoria County Library System serves the educational, informational, and recreational needs of residents across eleven towns and cities through twelve branches — from Freeport in the South to West Pearland in the North — plus a robust array of virtual services, outreach events, and programming. Beyond traditional materials, BCLS circulates equipment and tools through its Library of Things (from cake pans and camping gear to telescopes and a trailer), offers makerspaces in four branches, and partners with organizations for events like Annual Alzheimer Memory Screenings and AARP Free Income Tax Preparation. Our mission is to provide library resources for citizens of all ages while striving for the highest level of service, with an emphasis on convenience, speed of access, and quality of information. https://mybcls.org
