Libraries are often working to get more customers to use their programs and services. After all, more people using the library can lead to more positive benefits for the communities, campuses or organizations that you serve. And yet, most of the marketing that we do – flyers, website promotions, email marketing and social media posts – focuses on people who already use the library. How can we reach new audiences and get them to engage with the library?
This webinar will help you to identify who your target audiences are, set goals, and determine strategies for reaching these audiences. We’ll talk about ways that you can make it easier for new customers to start using the library. Then we’ll talk about strategies for retaining those new customers after they get started. Finally, we’ll discuss how getting and keeping new customers can be a year-round strategy, not just during certain times of the year.
