CAC Clients in the News! MECK Pre-K

My client MECK Pre-K was recently features on the local talk show, QC Life. And getting them this appearance was easier than you think! I just had to follow my own advice: put yourself in the news media’s shoes.

In this case, it was winter break, and I know that daytime talk shows may have a harder time filling their schedules. So I thought, what could we give them that’s both timely and relevant to my client, a high-quality pre-K program? How about tips to keep young kids learning and busy during winter break?

What was the next step? I simply sent an email.

Subject: Story Idea: Winter Break Tips from MECK Pre-K Early Childhood Expert

Dear News Desk,

I know the holiday season is a busy time for your team, and I wanted to share a story and/or segment idea that would be helpful for your viewers this time of year.

With winter break coming, families are looking for ways to keep young children engaged, learning, and happily occupied at home. MECK Pre-K can provide an early childhood expert to offer easy, practical, and fun tips like:

  • Easy, low-cost activities that build early learning skills
  • Indoor games and creative play ideas for cold days
  • Ways to maintain routines without pressure
  • Simple literacy and math moments families can work into everyday life

We can make the segment lively, visual, and helpful—perfect for holiday programming that resonates with viewers. Our expert is available for in-studio or virtual interviews, whichever works best for your holiday schedule.

If this sounds useful, I’d be happy to set it up or send additional details.

Thanks so much, and happy holidays!

Cordelia Anderson

And here’s the segment! Bonus: Mary-Margaret, our MECK Pre-K spokesperson, gave a shout-out to our local libraries!
